COLDWATER, MI (WTVB) - The City of Coldwater and Coldwater Board of Public Utilities (CBPU) would like to welcome their new Finance Director/Treasurer, Tom Eldridge. Eldridge is a Certified Public Accountant (CPA), earning both his Bachelor’s and Master’s degree from Western Michigan University. Previously, he was employed by Hi-Lex Controls as a Tax and Consolidation Manager, and prior to that as a CPA for Rumsey & Watkins P.C. (now known as Taylor, Plant & Watkins P.C.). Originally, Eldridge is from the Manistee area but has been a resident of Coldwater for the past 20 years. He and his wife Heather have one son named Hunter, who is in the 7th grade. Additionally, Eldridge is a member of the Coldwater Township Sunrise Rotary, and was a past Treasurer for the Branch County Coalition Against Domestic Violence.

“Tom’s previous work experience and involvement within the community make him a perfect fit for our organization,” said City Manager, Jeff Budd.

Officer Jaye earned his Associates degree in Criminal Justice/Law Enforcement from Macomb Community College and is also a graduate from Macomb Police Academy.
