LANSING (WKZO) -- Andy Dillon is out as the state treasurer, but will stay on the job until November 1st or Governor Rick Snyder picks his replacement. Dillon submitted his resignation on Friday, and it was accepted by Snyder. He cited issues with his divorce for stepping down, saying Michigan taxpayers deserve to have someone in office as Detroit moves through bankruptcy who is not distracted.
