AUBURN HILLS, MI (WTVB) - Pistons point guard Brandon Jennings is going to miss the start of the regular season because of a tooth injury. Jennings has an impacted wisdom tooth and a hairline fracture at the base of it. The 24-year-old will be out of action at least three weeks, which includes complete immobilization. The fourth-year guard signed a three-year, 24-million-dollar contract with Detroit in the offseason after joining the team in a sign-and-trade deal with the Milwaukee Bucks.
The Pistons play a preseason game tonight against the Bulls in Chicago.
