COLDWATER, MI (WTVB) - Maple Lawn recently held their annual Employee Recognition Banquet to honor and award employees for their hard work and dedication to the long-term care and rehabilitation facility. Employees with perfect attendance, years of service, and employees of the year were recognized during the banquet.
Named 2012 Employee of the Year was Cindy Robertson, CNA, Support Staff of the Year for the facility was Sandy Blouin, Dietary Aide and Supervisor of the Year was Barbie Mitchell, RN and Rehab Coordinator. Four people were recognized for perfect attendance including Sue Failing, Marianne Jackson, Linda Moraniec, and Sara Roper.
Recognition was also given for those that have reached one, five, and ten years, as well as those that have reached other milestones including 35 years Phil Miller; 30 years Judy Wendorf; 20 years Linda Moraniec; 15 years for Bev Bunge; Sarah Byers, Jake Manifold, Barb Morley, Amy Rau, Sarah Sechler; 10 years to Holly Hart, Amanda Hudson, Michael Murphy, Daniell Reichhart, and Rheanna Scott; five years to Jessica Akers, Kristen Arnett, Sue Failing, Veronica Kollar, Justin Minick, Cynthia Newland, Angel Rohrer, Kendra Russell, Katie Tinervia, Jeff Welch, Keri Zimmerman; and one year to Hope Ames, Lisa Bennett, Melinda Fuller, Michelle Gebbink, Jennifer Harper, Challyn Hodge, Paige Krzeminski, Kelsie Letendre, Jessica Reed, Nicole Reed, Nicole Stepp, and Jessica Vallance.
Maple Lawn Administrator, Jayne Sabaitis was stated as saying, “Your dedication, determination, hard work, high standards, and values have guided us in our growth and has maintained our superior reputation in the community. Thank you for your commitment to excellence and integrity.”
Maple Lawn Medical Care Facility has been recognized by the governor and other agencies for providing quality care through extended-stay nursing care to seniors with varying levels of disabilities. Rehabilitation services are also available for physical, occupational, and speech and language therapy for short or long term care.
