SOUTH BEND, IN (WTVB) - Michigan State at Notre Dame in South Bend coming up Saturday afternoon is a high profile game but will also be a good barometer of how the Spartans might fare this year in the Big Ten. That’s what M-S-U coach Mark Dantonio told reporters at his weekly news conference in East Lansing on Tuesday. Michigan State is 3-and-0 after wins over Western Michigan, South Florida and Youngstown State.
The 2-and-1 record of the Fighting Irish includes their loss at Michigan while barely surviving for a victory last Saturday at Purdue. Last year at Spartan Stadium, Notre Dame humbled Michigan State 20-to-3.
