ARLINGTON, TX (WTVB) - Texas Motor Speedway is about to have the world's largest HD video screen. The Big Hoss TV is going to be over 20,000 square-feet in size, around 79% larger than the one at AT&T Stadium in Arlington. TMS President Eddie Gossage tells "The Dallas Morning News" he originally wanted the screen to be 400-feet wide, but couldn't get upper management to sign off on the plan.
Gossage says the Big Hoss TV will weigh 108 tons, be able to withstand 120-mile per-hour winds and be waterproof. He expects it to be finished by April 2014.
