Michigan's Nik Stauskas named to Wooden All American Team

ANN ARBOR, MI (WTVB) -Six seniors headline the 2014 Wooden All-American team. Michigan sophomore Nik Stauskas was named to the ten player squad. Creighton forward Doug McDermott and Connecticut guard Shabazz Napier highlight the group of upperclassmen.  McDermott finished his career fifth on the  all-time scoring list, while Napier led seventh-seeded UConn into the Final Four with the Wildcats win Sunday over Michigan State. 

Half of the Final Four for the women's NCAA Tournament is set. Defending champion UConn topped Texas A&M 69-54 to reach the Final Four for the seventh straight year. The top-seeded Huskies improved to 38-and-0 on the season.  They will face either Stanford or North Carolina Sunday in Nashville. Notre Dame is also headed to Music City. The top-seeded Irish ousted Baylor 88-69 to improve to 36-and-0. Notre Dame secured its fourth straight trip to the Final Four. The Irish will play either Louisville or Maryland on Sunday.
