DETROIT, MI (WTVB) - The rainout yesterday for the Tigers and Royals could be followed by more showers this afternoon at Comerica Park where Baltimore and Detroit are scheduled to open a 3-game series. The makeup date for the game with Kansas City is Thursday afternoon June 19th in Detroit.

Anibal Sanchez, who was supposed to start yesterday’s game for the Tigers, will go to the mound today as Detroit looks to improve to 3-0 to begin the season. The Orioles arrived in Motown early today after losing 4-3 last night in Baltimore to the Red Sox, who won 2 out of 3 at Camden Yards.
