COLDWATER (WTVB) - The Coldwater School District is serious about helping parents with their pre-adolescent or teenage children. It’s called Love and Logic and could be right up your alley if are you in need of some parenting techniques to help you stay calm when your teens or tweens do incredibly upsetting things. Maybe you need help setting enforceable limits and you know you want to help your kids learn from mistakes rather than repeating them. If this is your predicament, you are invited to join Dixie Koenemann, Parenting with Love and Logic Leader, to attend the training starting on May 5. It’s a six-session class held Monday evenings at 7 p.m. and is for parents with children who are pre-adolescent or teens. It will be happening at St. Mark’s Episcopal Church located in downtown Coldwater, across the street from the Branch District Library. Cost is $10 and may be waived upon request. There will be no childcare available for this series.
