DETROIT (WTVB) - Another sparkplug to rev up the recovering economy. Each of the Big-Three domestic automakers posted strong sales figures for July. Chrysler jumped the highest selling nearly 20-percent more vehicles than in the same month last year. Ford Motor sales climbed by ten percent fueled in part by a 32-percent increase in Explorer sales. General Motors' July retail sales rose by nine percent spurred largely by double-digit climbs in crossover, van and truck sales.
