UNDATED (WTVB) - Michigan’s college basketball exhibition tour of Italy open yesterday with a 99-60 win over a select team of Italian pro players. Sophomore guard Zak Irvin led the Wolverines with 27 points, 11 rebounds and 4 assists.
Michigan shot 63% from the field including 53% from three point range. A pair of freshmen, Ricky Doyle and Kameron Chatman added 12 points apiece while Caris LaVert had 11 points, 7 rebounds, 6 assists and 5 steals. Game two of the 4 game tour is tomorrow.
