Golf ball drop and Color Run both a big success again this year

COLDWATER, MI (WTVB) - Only one ball was a hole-in-one, but that made Paul Winbigler a big winner in the annual Susan Nagle Help From Above Golf Ball Drop Saturday at the Coldwater Golf Course. Branch County Sheriff John Pollack dropped hundreds of numbered golf balls from a helicopter over the course Saturday afternoon, with Winbigler's going in the hole to win $1,000. Second place went to Anna Miller. The event will raise close to $15,000 for the Branch County Coalition Against Domestic Violence.

The Branch County United Way will also make around $15,000 from Saturday's Living Color Living United 5-K race. 802 runners participated with 13 color stations, where runners were pelted with colored corn starch.
