BRONSON, MI (WTVB) - The Branch County Sheriff’s Department says two brothers from Bronson Township have been jailed on meth lab charges after two separate suspected labs were raided. Deputies first went to 389 Prairie River road and served a search warrant and located remnants of a lab and finished methamphetamine. The Sheriff’s Department received a tip that a parolee, 36-year old Joey Clipfell, lived there and was making meth. Clipfell was arrested on the parole violation and had prior convictions for meth related charges. That was about 9:30 am Sunday. Then at 3:30 pm Sunday, another tip sent officers to 1139 Hollow Road.
Deputies located 37-year old Corby Clipfell hiding in the residence. He was wanted on warrants out of Branch and St. Joseph Counties for possible meth manufacturing. The search of the home turned up indicators of prior meth cooks, components, finished products and drug paraphernalia. The Clipfell brother remain behind bars today pending their next court appearances.
