Will Jack Morris make the MLB Hall of Fame on final try?

COOPERSTOWN, NY (WTVB) - The Hall of Fame voting by the Baseball Writer’s Association of America is today with former Tiger Jack Morris appearing on the ballot for a 15th and final time after falling 42 votes shy of induction last year. Former Atlanta Braves pitcher Greg Maddux won't become the first player to be inducted into the Hall of Fame on a unanimous vote. As results started to trickle in from media members, Maddux had appeared on every ballot until Tuesday. Ken Gurnick of MLB.com revealed that he did not include the 355-game winner on his list, only voting for Morris instead. Morris, with 254 career wins, has three World Series rings with Detroit in 1984, Minnesota in 1991 and Toronto in 1992.
