DETROIT (WKZO) -- Chrysler is recalling some more vehicles for ignition-switch problems. This time, it's nearly 800-thousand Jeeps. The ignition switches can be bumped out of position and cause the engine to shut off.
The affected vehicles are 2005 to 2007 Jeep Grand Cherokees and 2006 and 2007 Jeep Commander SUV's. Chrysler told federal safety regulators it will start notifying affected customers by mid-September.
Last month, the same issue forced Chrysler to recall nearly 900-thousand Dodge Grand Caravans and Town & Country minivans.
