QUINCY, MI (WTVB) - It appears authorities might have solved a rash of break-ins last month in the Village of Quincy. Two teenagers from the Village were formally charged yesterday in Branch County District Court in connection with the crimes. 18-year old Brandon Tarrell and 17-year old Brayten Jennings are accused of breaking into the Lightning Quick Stop, where Michigan State Police reported the theft of $10,000 cash. Also hit during the heists along U-S-12 were nearby businesses Quincy Collision and the Health Center.
Jennings reportedly confessed to his part in the break-ins. He was arrested over the weekend. Tarrell has been in the county jail since June 5th on a probation violation. Bond for both was set at $50,000 and they’re due back in court for a preliminary exam on June 24, 2014.
