TORONTO (WTVB) - Former Red Wings goalie Dominik Hasek and forward Mike Modano are part of a group of 4 players headed to the Hockey Hall of Fame. Hasek won the Stanley Cup with the Red Wings as a starter in 2002 and as a backup in 2008. Modano played his final NHL season with the Red Wings, appearing in 40 games with four goals and 15 points. He also played 21 seasons for the Dallas Stars franchise and holds the NHL record for most goals and most points by American-born players. They have been elected as part of the Class of 2014 and will be inducted at the Hockey Hall of Fame in Toronto in November.
