AUBURN HILLS, MI (WTVB) - The Pistons last night snapped their 4-game skid, handing New York their seventh straight loss with Detroit beating the Knicks 96-85 at the Palace. Andre Drummond grabbed a career high 26 rebounds in the win to go along with 17 points and three blocks. It was Drummond’s 44th double-double, which matched the Pistons single-season franchise record. Rodney Stuckey and Will Bynum each added 16 points off the bench for Detroit. The Pistons host the Bulls tomorrow night.
Also in the NBA last night, LaBron James scored a career-high 61 points, breaking the Maimi franchise record for points in a game as the Heat beat the Charlotte Bobcats 124-107.
