MARSHALL, MI (WTVB) - Calhoun County authorities have made a major drug bust with nearly 4 pounds of ecstasy seized following a traffic stop on I-94 near Old 27 in Marshall Township. The Sheriff's Department Special Response Team said after the vehicle was pulled over Thursday afternoon, the driver raised their suspicions and their K9 unit was called to the scene. The search turned up approximately 5,000 ecstasy pills.
The suspect, a 36-year-old Harper Woods, Michigan man was lodged at the Calhoun County Jail for Possession with Intent to Deliver Ecstasy. His name is being withheld pending arraignment.
