COLDWATER, MI (WTVB) - How about a story of there actually being light at the end of the proverbial tunnel….in other words, spring will happen, maybe not when the season officially arrives next Thursday afternoon with the 2014 vernal equinox. But a news release from the City of Coldwater proclaims Believe it or not, the snow is about to melt or at least some of it tomorrow when highs in the mid 40’s are forecast, but the city says, yes, we will be working in our yards in the near future, whenever that is.
The Coldwater Board of Public Utilities would like to remind all homeowners, excavators, landscapers, farmers and contractors to make sure the ground is clear of any utility lines before digging. Prior to excavation, the MISS DIG System must be contacted at 800-482-7171, 811, or online at www.elocate.missdig.org. Please contact MISS DIG at least 72 hours, but not more than 14 calendar days in advance of construction. Excavation must also commence within 14 days of the “dig start date” on the MISS DIG ticket. For more information, find the MISS DIG link at www.coldwater.org
