DETROIT, MI (WTVB) - Daniel Alfredsson scored with just 0.4 seconds left in overtime to lift the Red Wings to a 5-4 win over the Pittsburgh Penguins last night at Joe Louis Arena. Alfredsson also scored in the first period and Gustav Nyquist, Tomas Tatar and Todd Bertuzzi added goals for Detroit. Jimmy Howard made 39 saves in the win. The Wings, who are still in the hunt for a playoff spot, visit the Minnesota Wild in the first of a home-and-home series on Saturday.
