AUBURN HILLS, MI (WTVB) - The Detroit Pistons blew a 16-point lead at the start the fourth quarter and the Cavaliers connected on a jumper at the buzzer to give Cleveland a 97-96 win over Detroit at the Palace. The Pistons shot 6-for-19 from the floor in the final period to lose for the sixth time in seven games. Josh Smith tallied 24 points, eight rebounds and six assists in the loss. Tomorrow night, the Pistons host the Miami Heat.
Last night, in a potential preview of the Eastern Conference Finals, the Pacers grabbed an 84-83 win at home over the Heat. Indiana has taken two of three from Miami this season and holds a three game lead for the top spot in the East.
