BATTLE CREEK, MI (WTVB) - There is trouble at the top at Kellogg Community College. The Chairman of the K.C.C. Board has announced that President Dennis Bona is being put on a “non-disciplinary paid administrative leave” while an investigation is conducted into his “interactions with college personnel”. Board Chair Jonathan Byrd says they aren’t commenting beyond that to protect the rights of Dr. Bona and the integrity of the investigation.
There was no announcement that they were appointing an interim president to run the college in his absence. Bona has been on staff at K.C.C. for 35-years, working his way up through a number of administrative posts. He was hired for the top administrative job in 2010.
