INDIANAPOLIS, IN (WTVB) - It’s March Madness center stage for Michigan and Michigan State with their Sweet 16 games tonight while half of the Elite Eight in the NCAA Tournament was set last night with the start of the regional semifinals. Tonight in the Midwest Region at Indianapolis, number-2 seed Michigan takes on 11th seed Tennessee beginning at 7:15 pm while in the East Region, number-4 seed Michigan State will face number-one seed Virginia at Madison Square Garden in New York with the tip off set for around 10 o’clock.

Last night, top-seeds Florida and Arizona both advanced with wins over four seeds. The Gators dropped UCLA 79-68 in the South Regional while Arizona rallied to beat San Diego State 70-64 in the West Region. Second seeded Wisconsin dismissed sixth-seeded Baylor 69-52 and will play Arizona on Saturday night. Eleventh seed Dayton got by 10th-seeded Stanford 82-72 to move on and play Florida in the early game tomorrow.
