MARTINSVILLE, VA (WTVB) - Kurt Busch passed Jimmie Johnson for the lead with 11 laps to go and held on to win Sunday's STP 500 at Martinsville Speedway. Busch, who edged Johnson at the finish by just over a quarter of a second, became the sixth different winner in as many Sprint Cup Series races this season. He also ended his 83-race winless streak in NASCAR's top series.

Dale Earnhardt Junior claimed third place and earned his fourth top-5 finish of the season. Joey Logano and Marcos Ambrose rounded out the top-five. Junior holds a nine point lead on Matt Kenseth in the Sprint Cup Standings.

Next on the schedule coming up Sunday is The Duck Commander 500 at Texas Motor Speedway.
