UNDATED (WTVB) - Michigan ranks relatively high in a new poll of states where residents are seeking to relocate out of state. The new poll from Gallup asked people across the country if, regardless if they will end up moving, if they would like to move to another state. Michigan ranked 16th overall, with 37% of respondents saying they would like to leave, though 63% said they would prefer to stay right where they are. Illinois ranked at the top of the list with fully 50% of those surveyed saying they would prefer to live elsewhere. Hawaii, Maine, and Montana fell to the bottom, with just 23% of those surveyed saying they would relocate.
