UNDATED (WTVB) - College basketball may be headed for a shorter shot clock. ESPN reports the Atlantic Coast Conference will experiment with a 30-second shot clock during men's exhibition games this upcoming season. The NCAA has used a 35-second shot clock since the 1993-94 season. The ACC will provide feedback of the shorter shot clock and provide it to the men's basketball rules committee. League commissioner John Swofford says ACC coaches submitted the proposal and athletic directors embraced the idea.
