UNDATED (WHTC0 -- A minimum wage raise has made it through the Michigan Senate but will have to make it through the House before it becomes law.  The Senate approved raising the minimum wage to $9.20 per hour in the hope of reaching a compromise that would avoid raising it to $10.10 per hour.  The bill sponsored by Senate Majority Leader Randy Richardville would raise the minimum to $8.15 in September and then to $9.20 by January 2017 in three 35-cent increments.  The bill would allow the minimum wage to rise four percent annually for inflation beginning in Oct. 2017.
