ANGOLA, IN (WTVB) – There was another armed robbery in the area last night. It happened shortly after 9:30 at the Marathon gas station on US-20 near I-69 in Angola.
According to city police, the suspect, described as a 5’6″ male weighing between 140 and 160 lbs., entered the store wearing a black jacket with a zip-up hood and a blue bandana covering his face wielding a black-colored handgun. He ordered the attendants to remove all the money from the cash registers and to lie on the floor while he left the building. He was last seen running to the west as he exited the building. No injuries were reported in the incident, but an undetermined amount of cash was taken.

It’s not immediately known if this robbery is connected to the string of robberies that has happened in the area over the past few months, including Tuesday’s robbery of the Century Bank and Trust branch in Quincy.
