COLDWATER, MI (WTVB) – Vending machines at the Welcome Center on I-69 in Branch County have been broken into three times in the last couple of weeks.
Michigan State Police say the latest incident took place at about 5:30 a.m. last Saturday morning.
Troopers say a witness saw a woman with a small black dog yelled a warning to a man inside the Welcome Center. The man and woman had thin builds and were dressed in dark clothing.
The first incident took place sometime during the night or early morning hours on August 16. The second incident happened August 22, 2016.
Money was stolen from the vending machines after they were pried open.
State Police have released a picture of a vehicle which may belong to the two persons spotted last Saturday.
