COLDWATER, MI (WTVB) – The Legg Middle School 8th grade boys basketball teams both lost to Jackson Northwest Wednesday night. The A team lost 47-42. Spencer Rodesiler had 15 points while Cayrin Thompson had 12 points and Bradey Moore added 10 points.
The 8th grade B team lost to Northwest 40-17. Ryan Omo had 9 points.
Meanwhile, the seventh grade teams split their games with Jackson Northwest. The A team lost 42-41 as their record dropped to 5-3. Ethan Crabtree led Legg with 12 points while Evan Sloan grabbed seven rebounds. Gage McNew had five assists and two steals.
The B team improved to 8-0 as they beat Jackson Northwest 54-20. Jett Galloway led Legg with 17 points and five assists while Nate Tappenden had 14 points and six rebounds. Gavin Budd had 10 points. Owen Tom had four rebounds and four steals.
