COLDWATER, MI (WTVB) – Coldwater City Manager Jeff Budd expressed his frustration during Monday night’s City Council meeting about the continued vandalism at the Kids Kingdom playground at Parkhurst Park.
He said vandals damaged work that had just been finished and he indicated they are looking at increased security measures such as video cameras or motion lights.
Volunteers from the Walmart Distribution Center and the Branch County United Way recently had a day of service in an effort to restore Kids Kingdom.
They cleaned, painted and stained the structure.
The playground was built in the late 1990’s by volunteers from throughout the Coldwater community.
