WASHINGTON D.C. (WTVB) – 7th District Congressman Tim Walberg has announced he will be hosting a series of Vietnam veteran lapel-pinning ceremonies across the district over the next few weeks to commemorate the 50th anniversary of the Vietnam War.
The ceremony for Branch and Hillsdale Counties will take place on August 4 from 5:00-7:00 p.m. at Hillsdale American Legion,1611 Steamburg Rd in Hillsdale.
The Vietnam War Commemorative Lapel Pin has been authorized by Congress.
It is available to any veteran who served on active duty from November 1st, 1955 to May 15th, 1975 regardless of location.
