COLDWATER, MI (WTVB) – The Coldwater Police Department has a new officer. Matt Schoenauer took his Oath of Office on May 16 and begin his official duties at that time.
Coldwater Police Chief Mark Bartell says Schoenauer grew up in Branch County. He began his career in Homer and has worked part time for the Hillsdale County Sheriffs Department and the Quincy Police Department.
He has also worked as an officer in Union City.
Bartell says Schoenauer has already obtained training and certification in many of the “in service” categories they require for our Officers.
