COLDWATER, MI (WTVB) – The Coldwater Board of Public Utilities announced on Tuesday that the utility has received national recognition for achieving exceptional electric reliability in 2015.
The recognition comes from the American Public Power Association a trade group in Washington, D.C., that represents over 2,000 not-for-profit, community-owned electric utilities such as CBPU.
Association Senior Vice President for Engineering Services Michael Hyland says “this honor recognizes utilities that are statistically thriving when it comes to reliability”.
CBPU Engineering Manager Charles Bauschard says “this kind of recognition exemplifies their hard work for maintaining CBPU’s reputation as one of the most reliable electric providers in the nation.”
