COLDWATER, MI (WTVB) – In the first duel meet of the season, the Coldwater boys and girls track and field teams picked up two Interstate 8 wins at home Wednesday. The Cardinal boys beat Pennfield 113-46 and Jackson Lumen Christi 116-28.
Adam Bailey won the 110 hurdles and 300 hurdles, Jordan Parkinson won the 1600, Hamza Muflihi won the pole vault, Jaden Coney won the long jump and high jump, Zach Murphy won the 800, Shuaib Aljabaly won the 3200 and Connor Covert won the discus and the shot put. The Cardinals won the 400, 1600 and 3200 relays.
Centreville 71, Bronson 65
Bronson winners were Bryce Kosmerick in the 200, Courtney Salesman in the 400 and the high jump, Kody Rodriguez in the 110 hurdles, Blake Bucklin in the 300 hurdles, Alex Arias in the discus and Jacob Butters in the pole vault. The Bulldogs won the meet thanks a sweep of the relay races.

Jasmine Wellet won the 100 hurdles and 300 low hurdles, Claire Sheppard won the high jump, the 100 and the 200, Elka Machan won the 3200, Molly Smith won the pole vault, Jordan Bouse won the discus and Kaci White won the shot put. Coldwater won the 400, 1600 and 3200 relays.
Centreville 96, Bronson 41
Xochitl Garcia won the 1600 and the 3200 while Keona Salesman won the 400, Ashlee Hoath won the shot put and Morgan Rose won the discus. Bronson won the 3200 relay.
