NEW BUFFALO, MI (WTVB) – In high school baseball Wednesday, the Bronson Vikings swept a doubleheader at New Buffalo, thanks to a pair of five inning no hitters by Ethan Cossairt and Brett Sikorski.
The Vikings are now 12-2 overall and 4-0 in the BCS.
In girls softball the Bronson Lady Vikings improved to 10-6 overall and 4-0 in the BCS with a doubleheader sweep at New Buffalo by lopsided scores of 25-0 and 16-1. Payton Robinson tripled and drove in three runs in the first game. Kiana Mayer also had a triple while Adyson Lasky was the winning pitcher. Robinson had three hits and five RBI’s in the nightcap.
Chaselyn Preston and Itzy DePaz both had two RBI’s in game two.

Quincy 115, Reading 21
Quincy winners were Casper Boshers in the 3200, Ian Trail in both of hurdle races, Jonathan Purvis in the shot put and discus, Tyler Moore in the pole vault and Bryce Ruhl in the long jump. Quincy finished first in the 800 relay.
Bronson had a quad meet at Mendon. Also competing were Parchment and Buchanan. The individual results were posted at www.athletic.net but there were no team scores posted. Top individual results for the Vikings included a second place finish for Hunter Trine in the 1600. In addition, Courtney Salesman was second in the high jump and third in the 200. Jacob Butters was second in the pole vault while Bryce Kosmerick was third in the 100.

Quincy 72, Reading 65
Quincy winners were Jessica Holcomb in the 100 and the long jump, Claire Supianoski in the 200 and Gabby Porter in the 3200. Quincy swept all four of the relay races.
No team results were posted on www.athletic.net in Bronson’s quad meet at Mendon with Parchment and Buchanan. First place finishers for the Vikings were Keona Salesman in the 400 and the high jump, Xochitl (SO-she) Garcia in the 1600 and the 3200 and Ashlee Hoath in the shot put. Bronson won the 1600 and the 3200 relays.

Coldwater got their first Interstate 8 conference victory of the season as they defeated Battle Creek Pennfield 6-2. The Cardinals are now 1-1 in the conference and 5-4 overall.
