COLDWATER, MI (WTVB) – A malfunctioning transformer is apparently the reason why some Coldwater Board of Public Utilities customers on the west side of the city were without power Friday morning.
The City of Coldwater reported the outage was from Northshore Drive west to Batavia Road.
At last report, BPU crews are working to correct the problem.
Officials say the power should be back on at around mid-morning. The number of customers who lost their power is not known.
