COLDWATER, MI (WTVB) – The 11th anniversary of the Old 27 Motor Tour has gotten underway.
Hundreds of classic cars started the tour in northeast Indiana and are spending two days in Coldwater before starting up north along Old 27 to Cheboygan.
Some of the cars are scheduled to be at Short’s Root Beer Stand Tuesday evening from 5:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m and. at Lamplighter Bar and Grill Wednesday afternoon.
They will depart Wednesday at 3:00 p.m. and get a Branch County Sheriff’ss Department escort as the tour heads north on Marshall Street.
Those in the tour are being asked to line up north of the construction at Marshall and Grand Streets.
There are 13 cities on the tour, which will last six days.
