BRONSON, MI (WTVB) – In high school wrestling, Bronson finished second in the Clark Walker Invitational they hosted Saturday. Edwardsburg went 5-0 to win the title while the Vikings were 4-1.

Jacob Butters won his 100th career match as he along with Isaac Tappenden, Gavin Alger and David Erwin all went 5-0. Ben Modert, Eion Depaz, Isaac Robertson, Cole Houtz and Chase Gibson all went 4-1.
Coldwater finished 1-3 on the day at the Lakeshore Duals in Stevensville. They lost to Lakeshore 39-19, Niles 45-14 and Rockford 34-27. Coldwater defeated Dowagiac 59-11. Going undefeated on the day were Sam DeMeester at 189, Zach Miller at 171 and Zach Gipple at 215. Faheem Abdullah finished 4-1 at 125.

—GIRLS GYMNASTICS—
Coldwater qualified for the regionals on Saturday at the Holt Invitational. Coldwater earned their fourth straight team MHSAA regional score as they finished 11th with 124.875 points. Brighton won the 15 team meet.
Claire Sheppard led Coldwater in floor exercise with a score of 8.7. Sarah Hughes had the top score in the vault with a 8.4 score and on the uneven bars with a score of 7.2. Hughes also led the all around for the Cardinals with 32.175 points. Brooke Neitzert led Coldwater on the balance beam with a mark of 8.35.
Coldwater will host Parma Western on Wednesday night at 6:00 p.m.
