EAST LEROY, MI (WTVB) – A note that was attached to a balloon from a third grader at East Leroy Elementary School in Calhoun County in 1987 has been found in western Pennsylvania.
Steve White of Butler, Pennsylvnia said on his Facebook page that he discovered the note while he was walking in the woods.
The note was written by a third grader named Brenda Walters.
White says he plans to send the note back to the school.
He asked his Facebook followers to share his posting to see if word could get back to the owner.
