JACKSON, MI (WTVB) – 7th District Republican Congressman Tim Walberg was shouted down during a town hall meeting in Jackson Thursday.
Some in the audience chanted “people will die,” “you work for us,” and “shame” as Walberg met with constituents for an hour. He only took written questions.
Walberg told MLive he wanted to let people ask questions, but says he wouldn’t have been “able to get through anything.”
The main topics were Walberg’s vote last week in favor of the House bill to replace the Affordable Care Act, the proposed border wall with Mexico and President Trump.
