BRONSON, MI (WTVB) – In high school baseball, the 14th ranked Bronson Vikings improved to 24-6 with a non-conference doubleheader sweep of Concord by scores of 15-3 and 13-2. The Vikings have scored 64 runs in their last four games.
Kameron Haviland and Thadd Herman were the winning pitchers. With a two run homer in the first inning, Brenden Bell tied Chase Carpenter with the most hits on the Bronson All-Time hit list. Bell broke the record two innings later with a double. He finished the night with four hits bringing his career hit total to 118.
Haviland drove in four runs in the first game to help his cause. Ethan Cossairt homered and drove in four runs in the nightcap.
