WATERVLIET, MI (WTVB) – It wasn’t easy but the Bronson Vikings drive for a third straight State Class C Girls Volleyball championship is still alive. The top-ranked Vikings had to rally on Thursday night to defeat fourth ranked Schoolcraft 3-2 by scores of 21-25, 25-19, 23-25, 25-17, 15-5.

Ashton Wronikowski had 21 kills and four blocks, Kiana Mayer had 53 assists and five blocks, Jolie Smoker had 15 kills. Keona Salesman had 12 kills, 11 digs and three aces and Kiera Lasky had five aces and 25 digs.
The Vikings improve to 56-9-2 and will face Monroe St. Mary Catholic Central Tuesday night in a Class C Quarterfinal match at Loy Norrix High School in Kalamazoo. In the championship match of the Vandercook Lake Regional, Monroe SMCC defeated Whitmore Lake 3-0 (25-17, 25-12, 25-18)
