BATTLE CREEK, MI (WTVB) – The Bronson Vikings won their third consecutive Michigan High School Athletic Association volleyball state championship, and fourth overall, with a 20-25, 25-19, 25-20, 25-19 win against Laingburg in the 2017 Class C Final at Kellogg Arena.
Keona Salesman led the Vikings with 19 kills, 11 digs, and 2 aces. Jolie Smoker added 12 kills, Aston Wronikowski had 11 kills and 2 blocks, and Kiana Mayer had 9 kills, 1 block, 6 digs, and 37 assists. Adyson Lasky had 15 digs and 2 aces to go with 4 kills, Kiera Lasky had 21 digs, and Paris Outwater had 10 digs as Bronson finishes the season with a record of 59-9-2.
Alex Randall had 16 kills, Maya Ferland, and Sophie Strieff had 14 kills apiece, and Grace Gregg had 40 assists for the Wolfpack, who finish with a 41-18-3 record.
