COLDWATER, MI (WTVB) – After much delay, Coldwater City Manager Keith Baker reported to the City Council on Monday night that they have taken delivery of a new 2018 7400 International 5 yard dump truck.
The cab and chassis cost $84,000 and is used during the winter for salting and plowing and during the summer for various large projects.
In addition, Baker said the city took delivery of a Ford 350 One Ton service truck for various projects and purposes.
These kind of trucks are considered the workhorses of the city’s Department of Municipal Services fleet and are used for many different projects and purposes. The purchase price was just over $39,000.
