COLDWATER, MI (WTVB) – Women Who Care of Branch County has announced that at their August meeting, they voted to give funds from the meeting to the Community Health Center of Branch County School Tele-Health Program.
The amount donated during the one-hour meeting came out to $10,300.
The group has now donated over $125,000 to the community.
The funds donated from the August meeting will be used to help support the program which provides tele-health service for middle school and high school students in Coldwater, Bronson, and Quincy Schools.
The service has live-time consultations with the CHC Pediatric and Adolescent Center nurse practitioner, so students have less time missed from school.
