COLDWATER, MI (WTVB) – The Coldwater City Council Monday night voted 7-1 in favor of a design concept for the Chandler Plaza parking lot that allows for 116 parking spaces in a 90-degree configuration. The approved plan also offers greater storm water capacity and filtration than a competing design concept that reduces parking capacity to 92 spaces.
Support for the 90-degree design was offered by the Downtown Development Authority board and the City of Coldwater Planning Commission in September.
