BRONSON, MI (WTVB) – The post season got underway Monday night in girls high school volleyball, and in Class C at Bronson, the host Lady Vikings beat Reading 3-0 (25-5, 25-4, 25-11).
Kiana Mayer had 21 assists, Keona Salesman had 10 kills,Kiera Lasky with seven aces, and Adyson Lasky had eight digs.
Union City’s season came to an end Monday, losing to Centreville 3-1 (24-26, 25-15, 25-15, 25-6). Bracy Swift had 17 digs and 14 kills, Allison Adams had14 assists, and Emma Elgan had two blocks

MIVCA POLL—-
The two-time defending Class C State Champions start the M.H.S.A.A. Girls Volleyball tournament with a number one ranking. Bronson was voted number one again in Class C this week in the Michigan Interscholastic Volleyball Coaches Association poll thanks to their record of 51-9-2.
Gull Lake, who will oppose Coldwater Wednesday night, was one of the teams that earned an honorable mention in the Class A poll. Marshall is ranked sixth in Class B while Parma Western got an honorable mention.
Mendon got an honorable mention in Class C while North Adams-Jerome was ranked third in Class D.
