ALLEN PARK, MI (WTVB) – The Detroit Lions’ offseason workout program continues today with the first of their two allotted minicamps. It will run today through Thursday and is voluntary.
Only teams with new head coaches are allowed to hold a camp before this week’s NFL Draft. A three-day, mandatory minicamp will take place in June.
Lions personnel are getting set to head to Arlington, Texas for this week’s NFL Draft. The first round is Thursday night at AT&T Stadium in Arlington, Texas. The Lions have the 20th overall pick.
Rounds two and three are Friday night, with the draft wrapping up Saturday afternoon with rounds four through seven.
